How Warranty Claims Work

  1. Choose any licensed repair shop.
  2. Tell the shop you have a service warranty. They will contact the warranty company for approval.
  3. Pay your deductible (usually $100). The warranty company pays the rest of the covered repair directly to the shop.
  4. Get your vehicle repaired and back on the road.

Important Notes

  • Gael Auto Sales does not schedule or perform repairs.
  • All claims must be handled through your warranty provider.
  • Deductible is paid by the customer at the repair shop.
  • Coverage depends on your specific service contract — review your policy for details.

Vehicle Service Protection Plans

At Gael Auto Sales, we offer three levels of vehicle service coverage so you can choose the plan that fits your needs and budget. Every plan is designed to protect you from unexpected repair costs and keep your vehicle on the road with confidence. From Essential Coverage that safeguards critical components, to Basic Coverage that adds more protection, and up to Comprehensive Coverage for the most complete peace of mind — there’s a plan for every driver.

ESSENTIAL COVERAGE

ENGINE GROUP

All internally lubricated parts. Crankshaft and bearings, oil pump, fuel pump, diesel injection pump, internal timing gears or chain/belt, camshaft, camshaft bearings, valve lifters, rocker arm assemblies, and pushrods, valve guides, pistons and rings, wrist pins, connecting rods, motor mounts, and distributor drive gear. The engine block and cylinder heads are covered if the damage is caused by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

ENGINE (Rotary): All of the above-listed parts plus rotors, rotor seals, rotor chamber, eccentric shaft, and bearings.

TURBOCHARGER/SUPERCHARGER

Factory-installed turbocharger or supercharger, including housing and all internal parts.

TRANSMISSION, TRANSAXLE & TRANSFER CASE (4X4/AWD)

Internally lubricated parts in the housings, drive shaft/u joint, transmission mounts, and torque converter. Case housings are covered if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

DRIVE AXLE GROUP (FRONT OR REAR)

Drive axle housing including pinion bearings, side carrier bearings, ring, and pinion gears, carrier assembly, thrust washers, axles, axle bearings, constant velocity joints, internal transaxle seal, and drive axle housing, if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

SEALS & GASKETS

Covered when replaced in conjunction with a covered failure, or if the “Seals and Gaskets Coverage” option has been selected and the covered vehicle has less than 125,000 miles at the contract purchase date. Minor loss of fluid or seepage is considered normal and is not considered a failure.

POWER STEERING GROUP

Steering gearbox, pump assembly, rack and pinion, pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod, control valves, and intermediate shafts.

BASIC ELECTRICAL GROUP

Alternator/generator, starter motor, and front and rear wiper motors.
